ez-FEES-y™ Technology

Our prepackaged food coloring dyes are assembled in our FDA-listed facility so SLPs can provide quick and sanitary dye dispensing while maintaining focus on the patient and the Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) study without distractions.

Each sterile syringe is prefilled with 2.5ml of food grade coloring dye. The syringes are individually capped and sealed in an easy to open ziplock bag to provide the SLPs with confidance of no-mess during storage, transport, and dispensing. The syringes are single-use and are discarded after usage.

Food dyes (color additives) used to tint solids and liquids during FEES procedures are regulated by the FDA as color additives under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, primarily 21 CFR Parts 70, 73, and 74. They are not classified as medical devices (or assigned a device Class I/II/III) for this application.

Currently, BLUE and WHITE dyes are available for online orders, but we can accomodate your special color -- GREEN --, dye type or volume needs. Please contact us to inquire.
